LG’s Knapik Wins Regional Pole Vault Title, Headed to State Meet

La Grange’s Cordale Knapik stands atop the medal stand in Bullard after winning the regional pole vault title Friday.
La Grange senior Cordale Knapik cleared 14 feet to win the Region III-4A pole vault title last week in Bullard.
That earns Knapik a berth at the state meet in Austin May 1.
He was the only LHS track athlete to earn a trip to state, but several other Leopards placed. Here are those LHS athletes who placed at regionals:
Girls 100 Meter Hurdles 4. Macie Collier, LG 15.55
Girls 300 Meter Hurdles 4. Macie Collier, LG 44.61
Girls 4x400 Relay 5. La Grange 3:59.90
