LG All-Stars’ Historic Run Comes To an End at Southwest Regionals

La Grange Little League’s baseball all-star run to the Southwest Regional Tournament ended late Tuesday night with a 11-5 loss to Houston West University. The Intermediate boys finished as district, sectional and East Texas state champs.

It was the longest all-star run by a La Grange boys team since the 1974 La Grange allstars came within one win of going to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

Team members include Luke Behnke, Tanner Finch, Shepherd Gunn, Aiden Harbers, Chase Havel, Collin Horton, Candyn Janca, Brayden Johnson, Ethan Keilers, Ryder Klesel, Graham Adams and Teague Weinert. Manager is Jay Janca and assistant coaches are Patrick Horton, Kyle Johnson and Tanner Weinert.
