Leps Earn Split vs. Giddings

In back-to-back games Monday and Tuesday the La Grange baseball team split with Giddings.

The Leps lost Monday 8-0. Braxton Dahse and Oliver Gunn combined on the pitching for the Leps in that game. Eli Gillum had two hits for La Grange and Holdyn Cooper hit a double.

But Tuesday the Leps got revenge with a 7-3 win in Giddings. Ty Stark pitched 6.2 innings of three-run ball for La Grange and he also homered and had three RBIs. Hunter Sabo had three hits, including two doubles. Oliver Gunn and Kyler Lamza each had two hits.

The Leps are now 8-8 overall and 2-2 in district. They play at Caldwell Friday.
