Leps Baseball Goes 2-2 at Tournament

The La Grange baseball team won two and lost two at the Yoakum Tournament last week as the Leps improved their record to 4-4 overall.

Thursday La Grange beat Industrial 8-1 as Tristan Ulrich pitched a complete game twohitter with eight strikeouts. Jonah Ehler had three hits and Ulrich had two in that game.

Friday the Leps beat Cuero 6-5 as Ehler and Ryder Klesel combined on the pitching effort. Ulrich homered and doubled and drove in three. Ehler doubled and drove in two and Colt Jobb doubled.

Saturday the Leps lost to Navarro 10-2 and then Port Aransas 7-6. In that Port Aransas game, Dalton Janacek, Jaden Miller and Jobb all had two-hit games.

The Leps host Twelve (Katy) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
