Lep Golfers Cheered on at Regionals

    The members of the regional-bound La Grange golf team had a big cheering section watching them at regionals last week in Huntsville.

The La Grange boys golf team competed at the Region III-4A tournament last week in Huntsville. The Leps were in 9th after Day One, and shot a team total of 355. Day 2 they held the 7th place spot for a while, but struggled towards the end of the round, ending Round 2 scoring 357, and placing 10th in the tournament. La Grange had a twoday 712. Bullard won with a two-day score of 652. La Grange individual golfers and their two day scores were:

• Sr. Braxton Dahse 82/91

• Sr. Gavin Hollek 87/100 • Jr. Collin Muesse 97/88

• Fr. Grady Kocian 90/86

• Fr. Cohen Conard 96/92

Fayetteville had two girls who competed at the Region IV-1A golf tournament at ShadowGlen in Manor.

Eva Shaw shot a two-day 211 to earn the first state alternate spot. Bailey White shot a two-day 237.

Schulenburg Boys

• At the 2A Region IV golf tourney in Corpus Christi last week, the Schulenburg golf team was sixth out of 16 teams. The Shorthorn team members and their two day scores were: Reid Janda 82/75 Brycen Schramek 87/77 Jayse Janda 88/89 Van Prihoda 101/93 Brant Redmann 92/110

Flatonia

• At the 2A Region IV girls tournament, Flatonia had an individual competitor, Tiffany Friedrich, who shot a two-day 213.
