The Lady Leps punctuated their dominant regular season with an exclamation point.

The La Grange girls completed their first undefeated run through district since 2021 with a 46-27 victory over Navasota Tuesday night.

The win clinches the 224A district title, during which the Lady Leps went 10-0, and caps a regular season where the La Grange girls went 288.

Navasota was a formidable final hurdle to La Grange’s perfection. Three weeks ago the Lady Leps escaped with a two-point win on the road against the Lady Rattlers.

But Tuesday La Grange took an lead early and steadily built on it all night long, looking in control the whole way.

Junior Campbell Cooper led the way for La Grange with 25 points. Macie Collier scored seven. Hannah Gross scored six, Kylie Trlicek scored four. Ella Nygren and London Broussard scored two each.

“To see this all come together has been really special,” said La Grange head coach Ryan O’Neal.

The La Grange girls now turn their attention to the playoffs, which begin next week – time, date and opponent still to be determined.
