Lady Leps Trade Wins With Giddings

The La Grange softball team split its two games with Giddings Monday and Tuesday.
The Lady Leps won in dramatic walk-off fashion Monday.
Down 3-2 going into the final inning, Landri Hernandez tripled to tie the game and then Kylin Brawley hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Hernandez with the winning run.
Haedyn Cooper scored two runs in that game.
Freshman Brooke Ulrich pitched a complete game to get the win Monday.
But Tuesday things weren’t as good for the Lady Leps as Giddings prevailed 7-4.
In that game Madi Adams homered for La Grange and drove in two.
Iylah King and Landri Hernandez each had two hits and one RBI.
Ulrich, Brion Williams and Haedyn Cooper also singled.
The Lady Leps (now 13-8 overall) play at Caldwell Friday.
