The La Grange softball team went 4-2 at their home tournament last week to improve their overall record to 8-4 this season.

La Grange lost Friday’s morning game against Shiner 4-2 despite two hits from Iylah King. The Lady Leps won Friday night over East Bernard 10-3. Ulrich pitched a complete game and also had two hits, including a double.

The Lady Leps won both Saturday games. They beat Lago Vista 9-1 as Ulrich threw a complete game. Abby Cernosek led the offense with three hits. Ulrich and Cooper both had two hits, including doubles and DelaRosa also had two hits.

Then they beat Thorndale 7-6 as King pitched a complete game one-hitter. DelaRosa and Cooper hit triples and Kylin Brawley hit a double.

The Lady Leps play at the Huntsville Tournament this weekend.
