When: 7 p.m. Friday Where: La Grange Records: Both teams are 3-1. Of Note: What a great non-district matchup between two surging teams. La Grange had blown out every team not named Columbus so far this season while Navasota owns impressive wins over Madisonville, Brookshire Royal and a 56-21 win last week over 5A Waco High. The Rattlers only loss was 33-18 in the season opener to state-ranked Sealy. Navasota quarterback Jace Jabolonski and a stable of talented receivers will really test the Leps defense ... La Grange has been led by junior quarterback Eli Gillum, who ran for 98 yards and two TDs and also threw for two scores last week.

Last meeting: La Grange beat Navasota last year 34-30 as Clayton Cooper scored the goahead touchdown with 54 seconds left in the game.
