Saturday, La Grange High School brought a group of 11 offensive and defensive lineman to San Marcos High School for a Lineman Challenge hosted by Hardin- Simmons University. They competed against four different teams (Davenport, Fredericksburg, Sommerset, and McCallum’s JV team) in eight different events including a farmers walk, tire-flip relay, a power drive, an obstacle course, bench press, a sled push, a dumb bell stack relay, and finished with tug of war.

La Grange ended the event with a total of 80 points, for 1st place. Because of that finish, the La Grange linemen have qualified to head to Abilene, Texas to compete at the State Lineman Challenge on June 21.
