La Grange Competes in First Track Meet of the Season

The La Grange track team competed in its first meet of the season last week in Lockhart. Both the boys and the girls were sixth in the team standings out of eight teams competing. The La Grange hosts the Leopard Relays this Thursday. La Grange athletes who placed in the top six included:

400 Meters – 5th Abbot Acosta 54.10

110 Hurdles – 4th Howard Holmes, 18.76 4x100 Relay – 3rd La Grange 43.87

4x200 Relay – 5th, La Grange 1:36.04 Pole Vault – 2nd, Quade Brothers, 12-0

400 – 3rd, Diamond McKenzie, 1:04.92

4x100 Relay – 3rd La Grange, 52.62

4x200 relay – 4th La Grange, 1:55.18 Discus – 3rd Addie Griffin, 101-9 Discus – 4th Harper Griffin, 98-3 Shot Put – 4th Kylin Brawley, 31-9.75
