Konvicka Throws No-Hitter, Homers As Fayetteville Slams Moulton 15-0

The Fayetteville baseball team smacked Moulton 15-0 Tuesday as Lions pitcher Chance Konvicka hurled a four-inning no-hitter.

Konvicka struck out nine. Offensively, the Lions were led by several players who had big games at the plate.

Lawson Fritsch had three hits, including a double and a homer.

Jack Schley had three hits, including a double and a triple and drove in three runs.

Konvicka had two hits, homered and drove in two.

Jack Winford hit two triples.

The Lions are now 10-3 overall and play Moulton Friday in the regular season finale. They will play at Thorndale Saturday in a playoff warm-up.
