In an Impressive 2025 Debut Flatonia Flattens Louise 44-0

The Flatonia football team snapped their nine-game losing streak in a big way, blasting Louise 44-0 Friday in the season opener for both teams.

Flatonia’s Jaylon Anderson threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns (to Zayden Perez and Sean McKim) and also ran for a score.

The Bulldogs also got rushing touchdowns from Koren Scott, Caysen Perez and Adrian Anderson.

This victory was the first at Flatonia for new head coach Matt Uzzell, who took over the team after the departure of Brent Mascheck.

Flatonia plays this week against Hallettsville Sacred Heart, which is coming off a 42-0 loss to Schulenburg.
