High School Basketball Round-Up

La Grange Girls 

The La Grange girls basketball team improved to 5-0 with a 51-35 victory at Thrall Friday.

The Lady Leps play at home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. against Wimberley.

Fayetteville Boys 

The Fayetteville boys basketball team has started the season with a 3-3 record.

The Lions have beaten Mumford, Wharton and Bullard and lost to Port Aransas, Huckabay and Lipan.

Fayetteville Girls 

The Fayetteville girls basketball team is still looking for its first win of the season and has a 0-5 record.

In Friday’s 67-22 loss to Moulton, Scotti Beseda and Paige Jurecka scored three each, Cambree Denham ascored two and Devynn Moeckel score one. Lainey Gromaski had five rebounds.

Flatonia Girls 

The Flatonia girls basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 61-23 win over Katy Tompkins Friday.

Summer Sodek scored 27 points. Kalen Scott scored 19 and Abbie Uzzell scored eight.

Jalee Trussell had nine rebounds.

Schulenburg Girls 

The Schulenburg girls basketball team has started the season 2-0 with wins over Fayetteville and Wharton.

The Lady Horns were scheduled to play at Shiner St. Paul Monday.
