Of Note: A La Grange team that has scored more than 40 points twice already this season plays a Taylor team that hasn’t allowed less than 40 in any of its three games this season. This could be a recipe for an explosive Leps win Friday for homecoming. Taylor has lost 48-15 to Gatesville, 42-28 to Pflugerville Connally and 48-7 last week to Lago Vista ... The Leps are coming off a 41-7 win over Smithville led by a three touchdown night from Dillan Johnson.

Last meeting: The Leps defeated Taylor 35-7 last year as Cordale Knapik intercepted two Taylor passes, Da’von Giscome ran for 116 yards and Clayton Cooper threw for 252 yards.
