When: 7:30 p.m. Friday Where: At Flatonia Records: Both teams are 3-1. Of Note: Flatonia welcomes defending state champ Ganado to town this Friday in a battle of 3-1 teams. Ganado beat Flatonia 84-3 last season but the Indians graduated most of their starters from last season.

They have filled in many of those holes with a standout freshman class. Sophomore quarterback Landyn Arriaga is completing 60-percent of his passes. Junior Logan Bures is averaging 154 yards per game on the ground. Ganado’s only loss this season was to 3A No. 1 ranked Tidehaven last week 38-12. Flatonia is coming off a 42-13 victory over Three Rivers as the Bulldogs ran for 534 total yards.

Last meeting: Ganado beat Flatonia 84-3 last year as QB Bryce Ullman threw for 7 TDs.
