The Flatonia girls basketball team won their home tournament last week, winning all four games they played and improving their record to 14-1 overall.
Thursday the Lady Bulldogs beat Bellville 78-30 behind 42 points from Summer Sodek.
Then they beat Nixon-Smiley 79-24 as Sodek had a triple double (18 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists). Dani Vinklarek also had 18 points in that game.
Friday, Flatonia beat Giddings 68-37 as Sodek had 24 points and 15 rebounds. Jalee Trussell scored 15 and Abbie Uzzell scored 13.
In the title game Saturday, Flatonia beat Gonzales 78-38.
Summer Sodek and Dani Vinklarek each scored 21 points for Flatonia. Kalen Scott scored 15, Abbie Uzzell nine, Jalee Trussell five, and Kennedy Dornak three.
Sodek also led the team in rebounds (8), steals (4) and assists (7) in that game.
The Lady Bulldogs are back in action Tuesday at Bloomington.
