Flatonia Girls Score 100 vs. Bloomington

The Flatonia girls basketball team really lit up the scoreboard as they defeated Bloomington 100-10 Tuesday.

Summer Sodek scored 25 to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

Kalen Scott scored 23, Jalee Trussell 16, Dani Vinklarek 13, Kennedy Dornak 11, Abbie Uzzell eight and Eliana Herrera and Paige Carruthers two each.

Sodek also had 11 assists. The Flatonia girls are now 15-1 overall and 2-0 in district and play Friday at Caldwell.

Flatonia Boys Fall to Luling

The Flatonia boys basketball team lost to Luling Tuesday night 39-38. Leading scorers Jaylon Andersen 16, Zayden Perez 9, Jonathan Cruz 6. The Flatonia JV boys lost to Luling 33-16. Leading scorers Enrique Aguillon 6, Wesley Jarmon 6.

Flatonia’s next game is Friday vs. Somerville JV at 4 p.m. with varsity to follow.
