Fayetteville Wins its District Opener 60-7

The Fayetteville girls basketball team won its district opener Tuesday, beating Calvert 60-7.

Cambree Denham led the Lady Lions (5-8 overall) in scoring with 17 points. Scotti Beseda scored 16, Paige Jurecka eight, Lainey Gromaski six, Devynn Moeckel five and Saige Gasaway four. Shea Sladek and Aubree Graeter scored two each.
