Fayetteville Volleyball Falls in the Regional Semifinals

The Fayetteville volleyball team lost its regional semifinal match Tuesday in Seguin to McMullen County 25-18, 25-19, 25-22. The Lady Lions end their season with a 29-14 overall record. McMullen County advances to face Round Top-Carmine in the regional final Friday in Athens.

Lainey Gromaski led Fayetteville offensively Tuesday with 12 kills. Maycee Miller had seven kills and Devynn Moeckel had four.

Emily Keilers had 17 digs. Gromaski had 12 digs, Scotti Beseda had 10 and Moeckel had nine.

Beseda had 25 assists.

The Lady Lions will return a strong team next season. Moeckel is the only senior player graduating.
