The members of the Fayetteville volleyball team celebrate their area round victory in Waller Tuesday over Hull-Daisetta.
The Fayetteville volleyball team smashed Hull-Daisetta Tuesday in Waller 2511, 25-11 25-19 in a second round 1A playoff match.
The victory improves the Lady Lions overall record to 28-13 and vaults them into a third round match against Richards at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Caldwell High School in the regional quarterfinals.
In Tuesday’s victory, Cambree Denham had a team-high six kills.
Lainey Gromaski and Devynn Moeckel added five kills each, and Scotti Beseda had four.
Emily Keilers and Moeckel had five aces each, Cambree Denham and Beseda each had three aces.
Raelee Denham led in digs with seven. Keilers and Moeckel each had six digs. Beseda and Gromaski had five kills each.
Beseda had 19 assists.
