Fayetteville, RTC Grab Big Wins

• The Fayetteville girls basketball team defeated Calvert Tuesday 60-4 as the Lady Lions improved to 13-13 overall and 7-0 in district.

Cambree Denham led Fayetteville in scoring with 20 points. Devynn Moeckel scored 18, Scotti Beseda 13, Tatum Fritsch 3, Lainey Gromaski two, Shea Sladek two and Mackayla Griffin two.

• The Fayetteville boys basketball team smashed Calvert 91-61 Tuesday as the Lions improved to 19-6 overall and 4-1 in district.

• The Round Top-Carmine girls basketball team rolled to a 66-10 victory over Buckholts Tuesday.

The win improves the Cubettes to 7-10 overall and 5-2 in district. Cubettes scoring included: Hayden Kasmiersky 19, Madison Markwardt, 12, Jaylen Bage 7, Liliana Salinas 5, Rebekah Sacks 5, Brooklyn Gold 4, Halle Phoenix 3, Caydan Nelius 3 Bree Dooley 2, Reagan Williams 2, Morgan Nelius 2, Jaelynn Ahrens 2.
