Congratulations to all the winners of the Fayetteville Christmas Display Contest. The following are this years winners: First Place and People’s Choice winner of the Fayetteville Christmas Tree Display and Contest in the individual category: Bradley.

Second place winner’s of the Fayetteville Christmas Tree Display and Contest in the individual category: Sharon, Clem, and Elaine.

Third Place winner of the Fayetteville Christmas Tree Display and Contest in the individual category: Rose Rohde Family.

First place winners of the Fayetteville Christmas Tree Display and Contest in the junior category: Maelynn, Jessi and Lilly.

Birthday Celebrated

Beatrice Wasut of Fayetteville recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. She is grateful for the many phone calls, cards and visits from family and friends. Mrs. Wasut is the mother of Billy Wasut (wife Janice) of Fayetteville, Sally Kulhanek (husband David) of Fayetteville and Nancy Fuchs (husband John) of Bryan.

Eleventh Night Concert St. Paul Lutheran in Fayetteville is one of several local churches participating in the Eleventh Night Concert at 2 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran in La Grange. Advent and Christmas music will be provided by Colorado River Conference congregations. Light refreshments will be served.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.

St. John the Baptist Catholic St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
