The members of the Fayetteville volleyball team pose after Thursday’s victory in the first round of the playoffs over Buckholts in Dime Box.
The Fayetteville volleyball team bashed Buckholts in their 1A volleyball playoff opener 25-10, 25-4, 25-8 Thursday. The Lady Lions improved to 27-13 with the victory and now advance to play Hull-Daisetta in the area round. In Thursday’s victory, Lainey Gromaski had 14 kills to lead the Lady Lions. Cambree Denham had eight kills and Maycee Miller had five. Devynn Moeckel had four kills and Aubree Graeter had three. Scotti Beseda and Emily Keilers each had eight aces. Cambree Denham had five aces and Graeter had three.
Keilers and Gromaski tied for the team lead in digs with five each. Beseda had 29 assists.
