Dobbins Suffers Season-Ending Foot Injury
La Grange native J.K. Dobbins’s first season in Denver is ending prematurely according to a story from NFL.com.
“The Broncos running back will require seasonending surgery for his foot injury, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Saturday, per sources,” the story stated.
“Dobbins, who has a ligament tear in his foot, sought opinions from several experts before ultimately deciding on surgery, per Rapoport and Pelissero.”
“The Broncos later officially placed Dobbins on injured reserve.”
ESPN reported “Dobbins suffered the injury in the third quarter of last week’s 10-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders and has already undergone surgery.”
Dobbins posted on Twitter Saturday “For those who will count me out again… Thank you. For those who are with me on this ride… stick with me! You will love what God has planned next.”
