Chovanec Wins $100 Football Pot

We had three readers get all 10 games right in last week’s football pick-it contest – Michael Chovanec, Brian Cox and Jason Vela.

But it was Chovanec who wins the $100 prize based on his tiebreaker prediction of the Leps/Smithville game.

La Grange won that game 41-7. Chovanec predicted a 42-13 Leps win. Cox predicted a 42-14 Leps win, and Vela predicted a 60-13 Leps win.

We will try to get a picture of Chovanec accepting his prize money for Friday’s newspaper. In the mean time, here are this weeks games. Good luck!
