Bucek Honorary Captain for Horns

Shorthorn legend Bill Bucek served as an honorary captain at the homecoming game Friday night. Bucek, a Texas High School Football Hall of Famer, was the fi rst four-year letterman for the Shorthorns and went on to play for Rice University and later signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He was accompanied on the fi eld Friday night by his grandchil dren Draden and Brennan Chudej.
