Brooks, Collier Named All-Tourney as Leps Grab 3rd Place in Goliad

The La Grange boys basketball team went 4-1 at the Goliad Tournament last week to grab third place in the tourney, beating Wharton 56-53 in overtime in the third place game.
Junior Conner Brooks and senior Cole Collier were all tournament team selections.
In that third place game, Brooks and Brandon Mathis each scored 15 points. Collier scored 11. Hunter Gross scored nine, Mason Kleiber four, and Dillan Johnson 2.
Mathis grabbed 12 rebounds. The Leps are now 10-3 overall and play at Lexington Tuesday before hosting Victoria East Friday at 3:30 p.m.
