The Schulenburg High School class of 1962 celebrated its 63rd Class Reunion on Oct. 21 at Robert’s Steakhouse Restaurant in Flatonia.

Amalia “Molly” Rorschach, a junior at Schulenburg High School, recently attended the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC), in Fairfax, VA, in July. The conference is a week long, and it is for aspiring youth journalists who are rising juniors and seniors in high school.

Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Guadalupe County Livestock Judging Contest on Friday, Oct. 24.

The Fayette County Country Music Club will host a Polka Show Monday, Nov. 17, 2025 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange. The show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8.
