Even if you can’t adopt, take them for a walk, take pics and help network them. Let’s amplify their chances of being adopted! Remember, adoption fees are waived for approved Veterans and First Responders.

Food Drive to Benefit AMEN Pantry Runs Feb. 6-27 in Round Top

Round Top Lion’s Club is partnering with the Round Top Family Library Junior Master Gardener program to hold a food drive for AMEN Food Pantry. The drive will run from Feb. 6-27. Collection boxes for donations of non-perishable food items can be found at the Round Top Coffee Shop, Round Top State Bank in Round Top, Lulu’s, J.W.’s Steakhouse in Carmine, and the Round Top Family Library. The Round Top community is being asked to please participate and give generously.

The start of February marks the beginning of Black History Month, a time to honor and recognize the accomplishments and history of Black Americans. As we continue into this month and consider history, we must ask ourselves how all of us can contribute to racial equality and work to address disproportionalities and disparities that negatively impact Black communities.
