White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP)

    White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP)

The white ribbon for pornography awareness is the symbol for the White Ribbon Against Pornography (WRAP) campaign, which educates the public about the harms of pornography and promotes recovery and sexual purity. Started in 1987, WRAP Week is held annually, typically beginning the last Sunday of October, to raise awareness about the negative impacts of pornography and to provide resources for those affected. The white ribbon is meant to symbolize decency and the protection of innocence. This year the Catholic Daughters of the court of St. Rose #1597 are working to help raise awareness in our area by placing ribbons around St. Rose Church and School.
