Walhalla EEA Club Meets
The Walhalla Extension Education Association Club (EEA) met on June 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the agriculture building conference room with Vice president Donna Burton presiding. After club prayer, pledges and roll call, the treasurer’s report was given by Janice Alexander. Three members and one guest were present.
Under old business, the July summer get together will be in La Grange, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Jay Dee’z.
The election of officers for the new year will remain the same as the previous year.
President-Helen Wagner, Vice President-Donna Burton, Secretary-Reporter-Lila Garlin, Treasurer-Janice Alexander, Council Delegate-Janice Alexander, Alternate council delegate-Donna Burton.
Under new business, the donation of the county 4-H banquet will remain the same as last year. Lila Garlin will oversee the fair educational exhibit. A program entitled “Foraging for Food” was given by Janice Alexander. The meeting adjourned and refreshments were enjoyed by all.
