Senior Citizen Fall Membership Meeting and Luncheon Coming Up

It’s time for the La Grange Senior Citizen Activity Center Fall Membership Meeting and Luncheon. This is always a fun event and visitors are encouraged to attend. Membership is open to those living in La Grange and the surrounding communities who are 50 and over. Meetings including a lunch are held twice a year. The group also holds game days twice a month and takes several day trips throughout the year, most recently to see Fiddler on the Roof in Bastrop.

The Fall Meeting is Thursday, November 6, at the Randolph Recreation Center at 653 E. Pearl Street in La Grange. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with time to visit before the meeting starts at 10:30 a.m.. If you register by 10:30 a.m., you are eligible for door prizes. The meeting will be followed by the guest speaker, Daniel Dominguez from Progressive Health of Fayette. He will provide information on the progress toward opening the hospital. Lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m.. Chicken Fried Chicken with sides and a dessert will be available for dine-in only. The meal cost for members is $5.00 and nonmembers are $10.00.
