Second Chance Donates to Calf Scramble
Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $4,000 to the Fayette County Calf Scramble (FCCS) which was held on Aug. 1 and 2. Out of the 24 scramblers, 12 scramblers were awarded calf certificates. Hardship “Second Chance” calf certificates, which were funded by Second Chance Emporium, were awarded to two scramblers who came up short in the event. The organization’s mission is to teach responsibility, leadership and animal husbandry while fostering a deeper connection between youth and the agricultural heritage of Fayette County.
