The Gallaporium, a new antiques and consignment store in Warda, held their grand opening on Thursday, Nov. 20. Owners Peggy and Bill Poole offer a range of hand made, unique, or unusual items. “We had hoped to one day operate our own antique store. Well, our ideas and plans changed some over the last 4 years. We wanted to create something more than just an antique store,” they said. Some of their craft and creative interests include photography, vintage items, pottery, crafts, leather work, and laser engraving. The store is located on the side of the Warda Self Storage facility at 5630 US-77. They’re open Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. Call them at (979) 338-0137.
