Record Goes to New Orleans
Record editor Jeff Wick, right, and his family (from left, Deacon, Maddox, Ella, Chrystal and Penn holding the newspaper) slipped off to New Orleans via train earlier this month and enjoyed the sites, sounds and flavors of this historic city. Their three-night hotel stay was free because they agreed to listen to a two-hour time share presentation while there. After saying thanks but no thanks to the time share, they watched the above Christmas parade through downtown New Orleans while catching up on the news back home via their copy of The Fayette County Record. Take along the Record on your next trip, send us a photo and we’ll get it in the paper.
