Pelicans Visit La Grange in Marshes Along Highway 71

A flock of white pelicans visited La Grange this week. Dozens of them were splashing in the marsh near the Colorado River along the SH 71 Bypass feeder road east of Old Plum Highway on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The smaller, dark colored birds are cormorants, also known as water turkeys.
