Dusty Boullion with Southwest Dairy Farmers brought his Jersey cow Chloe to the final installment of the Summer Reading Program series at the Fayette Public Library on Wednesday, July 16. Bouillon taught the kids about the different breeds of dairy cattle and the kinds of products made from milk. He also showed them how to milk a cow. Carol Perales, the library’s youth services coordinator, reported that the children logged more than 100,000 minutes of reading this summer. The Summer Reading Finale Party in the Park will take place Thursday, July 24, from 5-7 p.m.
