MLB Members Audition For All-State Band

On Saturday, Jan. 10, 12 members of the Mighty Leopard Band performed at the ATSSB Area Band Audition at Robinson High School. This audition determines who joins the All-State Band. Congratulations to Anthony Anzaldua, who advanced to the All-State Band on Bass Clarinet, and to Grady Kocian, who advanced to the All-State Band on Euphonium for his second consecutive year. They will travel to San Antonio next month to rehearse and perform with the ATSSB 4A All-State Symphonic Band. Other students who auditioned include: Mitchell Cervantes, Teresa Mao, Chloe Coufal, Alexa Morales, Devin Cooper, Gerardo Gomez, Mason Oppermann, Lauren Rusek, Grayson Owens, Jacob Bridgefarmer. Most returning players had their best placements yet.
