Locals Appear in Second Session of Camp Shakespeare

A trio of La Grange High School students appeared in the second session of Camp Shakespeare, which performed “Much Ado About Nothing” in Gonzales, La Grange and Winedale last week. Those students are shown here. In the left photo Deacon Wick seated and Holden Mikulin, standing. And far right, Maddox Wick.

These three, along with four La Grange students (Carolina Lira, Delilah Citzler, Fallon Miller and Elliot Cone) who were selected to perform in the first session’s per formance of “The Comedy of Errors,” gave this area quite a presence in this, the 25th anniversary season of Camp Shakespeare, which is for kids 11-16.

Now it’s the college kids’ time to shine in the theater barn for the 55th anniversary season of Shakespeare at Winedale. The college performances begin this Thurs day and run through Aug. 10. Details can be found at www.shakespeare-winedale.org.
