Local Pottery Art Finds a Home
The residents of Gray Legacy Services in La Grange have been hand-making pottery pieces. Each piece is unique, handglazed, and made to be both functional and meaningful and would make great gifts for Valentine’s Day. Among the items are heart magnets, paper weights, trays, coasters, Texas flags, dishes, etc. La Grange Cotton Gin has recently given the residents space in the store for the pottery. The funds raised enrich the lives of the residents. Valentine’s Day pottery pieces are currently at both Cotton Gin and the Gray Legacy Services office on HWY 77. Each location has a donation box along with a QR Code for Mary Gray Foundation, a 501(c)3. Shown above are, left to right, pottery artists Darlene S., Kayla W. and Kandy J. along with Ginger Robinson of La Grange Cotton Gin.
