KJZT Society Holds Meeting On Nov. 18
The meeting of the KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 10 was called to order at 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 at St. John’s Education Building. President Mary Jane Toddy opened the meeting with prayers for all living members and their families and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 12 members, district director Joy Kovar and one guest present.
Rose Rohde read the minutes from the previous meeting. Helen Wied reported cards sent and received, and Lois Kaspar gave the Treasurer’s report.
In new business, Society No. 10 will be giving prayer magnets in honor of the Feast of the Holy Family during the services the weekend of Dec. 28. Catholic School Week will be held Jan. 25-31, 2026. Members voted to send a donation to each of the Catholic Schools in the area. The group nominated Leslie Little to receive a monetary gift from the main office for his Deacon studies. The District III meeting will be hosted by Fayetteville Society in 2026. Officers will look at scheduling a date in August for the meeting.
Attendance prize winner was Veronica Ryza and the next meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026. After the closing prayer, the meeting was adjourned, lunch and social followed.
