Round Up News

The Stray Gathering Cowboy

Church held their Fall Round Up and it was a wonderful success. The kids had a blast and SG2C had the cutest “Kids’ Corral” set up to help contain the little ones with all kinds of games and fun things to do. There also was a bounce house to let the littles bounce away some energy.

The big kids got to enjoy some fun with the dessert wheel to win yummy prizes. There also were silent and then a live auction of all kinds of items. The big item was the drawing for the beautiful Hereford cross heifer. The winner of the heifer was Bill and Judy Maderer.

Weather

Muldoon is still hot and

very dry. There were some “showers” on Tuesday, but they were extremely spotty and most only received a few drops of precious rain.

Road Hazards

With the days getting shorter and everything being so dry the animals are out and about. There have been a number of various animals that have been hit on the roads. Please be aware of the deer, hogs, racoons, and skunks that are out moving around looking for their next meal or drink. The larger animals can cause lots of damaged if hit.

Illnesses in Area

There are a number in the community that have been ill and under the weather. The drier weather and all the dust and allergens in the air have a number of people not feeling their best. Be sure to give your neighbor a call and check on them. They might need a little help or maybe just a kind word to help them feel better.
