Halpain, Gammon Engaged

The parents of Sherrie A. Halpain and Joseph S. Gammon are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children.

Sherrie is the daughter of David and Rachel McDonald and the granddaughter of the late Rev. Marcus and Betty Wolfram of Warda. Joseph is the son of Larry and Margie Eaves of Warda.

Sherrie and Joseph have a love story that dates back to 7th grade. They both graduated from La Grange High School. Sherrie went on to attend Texas State University and earned a degree in Public Relations and later attended Concordia University for her Masters and Doctorate in Leadership for Early Childhood Education. Joseph attended the University of Texas at Austin earning a degree in Computer Science.

Sherrie and Joseph are currently living in Austin where Sherrie works as the Head of School for a Montessori school and Joseph is an Architect & Senior Lead for a security software company. They are planning a destination wedding to Ireland with close friends and family but will first hold a ceremony at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
