The Fayetteville Courthouse Music Series, presented by Arts for Rural Texas, returns this March with live acoustic shows every Tuesday evening on the historic courthouse square in Fayetteville.

“The lineup for this March is very exciting,” Mike Stroup, Fayetteville’s mayor, said. “Fayetteville residents and people from surrounding communities really look forward to these Tuesday night concerts at the courthouse. ARTS does a great job of procuring excellent musicians of various genres,” Stroup continued.

Trevor Underwood, will kick off the series on March 3. Rio Tripiano will take the stage on March 10. Season 13 winner of The Voice, Sundance Head, will perform March 17 followed by Matt Kirk on March 24. Closing out the series will be Season Ammons on March 31.

Matt Kirk had this to say about the Fayetteville Courthouse Music Series: “This is precisely the direction I am trying to steer my career in. I was over the moon when I was asked to come out to Fayetteville and play some original songs for fans of live music. It’s a great honor, and I’m looking forward to being there.”

“We want to encourage people who are in the area for the antiques show to come and enjoy what Fayetteville has to offer. That’s one reason we chose to have the music series in the months of October and March. Plus, those two months tend to have pleasant weather in this part of Texas,” said event organizer, Sandra Borne.

Attendance to the show is free, but there are family and corporate sponsorships available. In addition to supporting singer/songwriters, the series raises money for the Fayetteville Courthouse Preservation Fund. Monies left over after paying the artists and for any advertising will be presented to the city of Fayetteville in May 2026.

The event is sponsored in part by The Fayette County Record, Fayetteville Propane, FayCo Printing, Mary and Evan Quiros, and several other Fayetteville and area residents. For more information or to inquire about sponsorships, please call Sandra Borne at (512) 971-3901.
