Movie Filming
Recently, Jody Stelzig, “Rowdy,” actor, writer, stuntman and director, checked into Fayetteville to direct and film his contemporary oilfield/horror/ comedy, “Crude.” The film is about a not-so-ordinary day in the life of Jimmy Crude, a third-generation oil man for his family’s small oil company. Cameos feature our very own Mayor Mike Stroup, Brooks Hull, and R.C. Crowe (“Legends and Lies,” “Hidden Histories”).
Actors include Keith Kallina, Molly Sakonchick (Weed Hacker Massacre), David Trevino (“Storage Locker,” “Weed Hacker Massacre”) and R.J. Preston (“Return to Lonesome Dove,” “Cruzado”). Guest star appearance by Gerald Brodin (“The Young and the Restless,” “Days of our Lives”,” General Hospital,” “The Challenger Disaster”).
The film was lensed by Director of Photography Kim Rotzler. Food services were provided by Joe’s, and the cast and crew are still raving about the chicken fried steak.
