Ellinger Cares Hosting Bake Sale Saturday

Ellinger Cares is sponsoring a bake sale Saturday, Nov. 22 starting at 7 a.m. at Hruska’s in memory of Leona Parks. Homemade desserts will be sold to celebrate the legacy of Leona. A memorial service will be held on Nov. 29, at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinger at 11 a.m., where Leona was a member.

Shared Lutheran Ministry 

Pastor Jen will lead service in Ellinger at St. John on Sunday, Nov. 23.

The first Advent worship will be at St. Paul in Fayetteville on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

All are invited to a Christmas Tea Party on Sunday, Nov. 23 in Rutersville at St. John Fri 1-3 p.m. If you would like to host a table please contact Maegan at (830) 708-7430 or Lee Ann at (979) 966-8330.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

LGISD School Holiday 

La Grange ISD will not have any classes from Nov. 24-28. Classes will resume on Dec. 1.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church 

St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services.
