Community Invited to Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at New CVC Food Court at Fayette County Fairgrounds

Colorado Valley Communications (CVCTX) invites the public to join in celebrating the unveiling of the new Colorado Valley Communications Food Court at the Fayette County Fairgrounds with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m.

The ceremony will honor CVCTX’s deep-rooted commitment to the region—not just as a trusted internet service provider since 1953, but as an active supporter of education, local nonprofits, and community-driven events. CVCTX and fair officials will officially cut the ribbon on the new Communication Valley Communications Food Court, symbolizing years of partnership and investment in Fayette County.

“This moment is more than just a name on a building,” said Kelly Allison, General Manager at CVCTX. “It’s a reflection of the partnerships, memories, and hometown pride that define Fayette County—and we’re thrilled to celebrate that with our community.”

As part of this investment, CVCTX has provided fiber internet and installed Wi-Fi access points throughout the fairgrounds, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity for vendors and fairgoers alike. The upgraded infrastructure supports nine key locations and now covers nearly 875,000 square feet of the fairgrounds. CVCTX will continue to maintain the fiber network at no cost to the Fair Association.

The ribbon cutting will be a celebration of collaboration, connection, and community— complete with a preview of the fair fun ahead.
