Colorado Valley Quilt Guild Meets, Members Enjoy Quilt Block Painting

Michelle Markey of Medina Domestic Arts Studio out of Medina was the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild’s guest speaker at the monthly guild meeting. Michelle’s beautifully painted quilts were the talk of the Guild and many members enjoyed a special workshop with Michelle the following day. Attendees of the workshop worked on fabric painting a quilt block with bluebonnets and hummingbird. The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
