Camp Lone Star Invites Families for Dinner, Games, and Fun on Dec. 11

Camp Lone Star in La Grange is hosting another great Family Fun Night on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 5:307:30 p.m. Family Fun Nights include dinner, exciting camp activities, a Family Feud game, and a devotional. This is a great way to enjoy quality family time and connect with your kids. They are located at 2016 Camp Lone Star Rd. La Grange. Orphan Grain Train 

The Serbin LWML ladies are collecting items for Orphan Grain Train before Dec. 9. They are specifically colleting new underwear and socks (all sizes/genders), also new or gently used stuffed animals and quilts to give to those in need. Sewing Circle 

The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (This is around the back side of the church.) No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 2423333 if you have any questions. Warda Recycle Trailer

The Warda recycle trailer is located across the street just down from the fellowship hall at Holy Cross. If you have aluminum cans to recycle, there is a wire basket at the picnic grounds. The money from the can recycling goes to the local trail life group. They greatly appreciate your support.

Holy Cross Services 

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

Mission Festival will be celebrated Sunday November 23. Rev. David Fleming will be preaching. Following the service, he will lead a Bible class on Spiritual Warfare.

Thanksgiving Eve Worship will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m.

Faith Lutheran High School Everyone is invited to join in the Chapel Worship Service held each Wednesday at 11:05 a.m.

Annual Visit Day is fast approaching. This is a great opportunity for future students to see what FLHS is all about and what high school might look like. If you have a 7th or 8th grade student and would like to bring them for a visit, contact the school.
